Tomorrow's parks today!

In today's world councils throughout the country cannot afford to do everything they did in the past, don’t moan, it’s reality. So what can we do as a community?

We work towards transforming parks into the very best community centres, for the benefit of both the environment and park users.

Tomorrow's parks today is achieved in several different ways, much like the jigsaw of life.

Creating tomorrow's parks today!
The Magic of parks

Using out the box thinking, we have been developing a range of connected solutions and projects to help create tomorrow's parks today, using a convergence of nature, technology, recycling, education and wellbeing for humans and bugs alike, with many conversations and goodwill of residents.

How do we do this? The magic of community!

    Some examples
  • Harrow litter picking initiative
  • Educational nature and wellbeing projects
  • Recycling
  • ParkLife Cafe
  • History
  • Community partnerships
  • Community meals
  • Community events
  • Online SmartPark community project

ParkLife Cafe

ParkLife Café is run by a small full time team and our community of volunteers, liberally sprinkled with kindness and nice natured people, a place where you can chat and relax with others, while enjoying tasty fresh food and a variety of drinks at community prices..

Within this glorious and tiniest of buildings, there is cafe style diner type of restaurant halls, with small meeting rooms, peaceful areas, small table games indoors and great outdoor community games tables (coming soon), a small library and a community feel.

ParkLife cafe provides us with a unique opportunity.

Creating tomorrow's parks today!
Unity is community
Unity is community (code for happy projects) This is the umbrella name we use for a whole host of community projects we organise or work with other community groups to bring together.
  • The Busby clubs
  • Off The Wall
  • ParkLife Cafe
  • Music events
  • Community events

It is quite hard to explain how this all works, we know that if people talk to each other amazing things happen, some people feel isolated, others have a hard time of things, unpaid carers deserve a break, people that are in vulnerable places in their lives should have a place to chill and feel safe, working people sometimes have it hard and need a break, people that have just moved to our area can meet others, it’s human wellbeing in motion.

These events and supported by volunteers, nice people that share their time, artists musicians, magicians, holistic treatments and generally anyone that want to spend time with others, so get involved helping.

Recycling projects

We are proud to be working on this collection of recyling projects with JR042 - which will eventually become connected bringing our convergence nearer the end goal.

We have over 15 interconnected recycling projects in design for the past few months, and look forward to sharing the first draft.

Sharing our vision for recycling and bugs wellbeing within a park is supported by our volunteer's, engineer and ecologist, using a selection of different ideas.
